Here is a picture I've never showed to anyone, of my seedling 2012197. I made this many plants by spraying Bap on the crown and scapes of a 2 fan seedling. I believe that I got 7 or 8 plants from the two fans the first year it bloomed. I document the good the bad and the ugly of growing Daylilies.

Using Bap

This is ABILENE GREEN JEANS the first year it bloomed. I first put prolifs on the scapes USING BAP. I then planted the whole scape laying in a small trench. not to cover up the foliage.  I make a wire staples to hold the scape in the trench, used lots of Root Tone. As soon as they started growing well, I used Bap on their tiny little crowns. I had the fans you see in this picture, within 3 or 4 months of AGJ's first bloom, . I registered ABILENE GREEN JEANS the following year with about 20 or so fans. Both the rows you see came from 2 scapes. I experienced no ill effects and I'm to soon be 80. I think maybe it's possible the using bap can explain my Dash Good Looks at 80 years old Tom

Pretty double edge purple

This flower is the one I was talking about in my post. It has two purple and white parents. Looks better than either. You get that some times in line breeding. Sets seed, grows fast and puts on prolifs with a little help, and I know how to do that too. This flower is now registered Abilene Pirates Eye.
