I got this one today, I got 3 others also. This one will have a more pronounced double edge in later blooms and scapes. My experence has been that it usually takes a seedling in it's second year to be able to tell much about but count and branching. The scapes usually get larger in the second and third year.. I also have noticed that if the seedlings are planted too thick they will go up to sunlight on a more spindly scape but get shorter later if not fighting for sunlight. Most of my seedlings that bloom in the water beds will bloom on a shorter , stronger scape the following year. I don't know if the water beds has any thing to do with this. How do you check spelling on this blog? I'm still dumber than sheet rock about this blog thing. I won't try for two tonight. The one I tried last night I tried to drag it to the bottom of the narrative and I think I dragged it under the table, I haven't looked yet..gotta Go...T

Does this have any blue? What is this strange color, I'm getting a lot of these this year. Maybe it has no blue but it came from blueish (sp) parents. I don't know, men don't have clash genes, we can't tell if our shirt clashes with our socks. I'm not sure we even know what clash means. I don't see anything wrong with green pants and purple socks, but my little sweetie does. Yawl must admit my blogging is getting better or is the reason I get few praises is because I'm getting worse. One more picture and I'm gone for the night....TA- DA. I had another picture I screwed around trying to move it and I lost it. God only knows where it went

I figured if I was going to post on my blog, I would include one of my projects that has been going on for about 8 years: Lee's blogging is very profession looking compared to mine but he is much older than I am so I will catch up in time. As you can see I am still working on blue.

I learned something from Richard Garrin yesterday. He suggested I put my description on the Label Editor . This is my first try. If I fail it's not his fault because his site is great. Here I'll show you. This is from Richard Garrin
"I am promoting our R15 Summer meeting . Check out my redneck wisdom section at the top of the page. Here’s the link http://hemposter.blogspot.com/ . Here in the NC hills our neck runneth red! And we’re proud of it."
This is a good site to see how Richard use the Label Editor to do his descriptions of the pictures.
The flower I'm showing is my best so far for hunting the elusive blue flower. It comes from PALACE GARDEN BEAUTY line breeding for five years and a seedling of mine. The next picture is the same flower two years later. Here goes.

When I pulled up the second picture the writing jumped down to the second picture, leaving one line up by the top picture. HELP

This is a test. I am still trying to learn how to type on this blasted thing. This is the first time I have ever got the writing out beside the flower. It only too 2 hours, I'm getting much faster. I am beyond a doubt a slow learner, how did I ever learn Electronics which I taught over 20 years. It has a mind of it's own.
This is a cross of (ABILENE JOYCE'S WONDER X ABILENE GREEN JEANS). It's about 7 inches. Bloomed two days ago. The edges are much greener in real life.
ABILENE SUNRISE (2012) |
I'm trying to put teeth (FORESTLAKE RAGAMUFFIN) on my ABILENE SUNRISE. People who know me understand that when I say trying, I mean every pod.will be F R . I would like to get at least 100 seeds. ABILENE SUNRISE is not folded over this year but it did last year. WHY--I don't have a clue.

This is some new seedlings that bloomed today. I would have liked to started the typing at the top of the page but the cursor would not go up any higher..It has a mind of it's own where you can type. I hope some day to figure out where this typing will appear....tom
